Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Just a few updates + finally getting a degreeeeeee

Well, I have now reached over 800 watchers, which is awesome!

I'm trying to build up my own stock and textures collection because I want my artwork to be 100% mine. I have help from people I know as well who do photography as they let me use their photo's and I've been taking quite a few pictures myself with my camera and my parents which are both dslr's and take good high res photo's. I don't have a big enough collection at the moment, but I'm going to America in february 2013 and I've never been so I'm pretty sure I'll come back with some good photo's that I can use!

I've also recently been accepted in to university which I'm so excited about, I've been waiting to get my degree for three years now! College just bores me and I don't learn much, I more or less teach myself everything.. so all I've wanted to do since I started is go to university and now it's happening!
Come September 2013 I shall be moving out and going to get myself that degree, the course in the first year lets you do a bit of everything and then in the second two years you get to choose what you want to specialize in, I haven't decided yet but it will probably be based on what I do now as when I went for my interview, the tutor that interviewed me told me that I should pursue this type of design I do now, even though I said it was just a hobby.

I've also had an email to say I can get a scholarship.. as my reference said I'm expected to come out of college with three distinctions, I can get a scholarship with three b's at a level or equivalent which is what the course I'm doing is. I can get a cash prize and potentially the first year of my course half paid for. Couldn't believe it when I read it! I get certain people criticizing my work and saying certain things so this made me a lot more positive!

Thanks to everyone who supports my work anyway, I really appreciate it. Watch this space.
